SAEKA’s Cleaning Paste has been specially formulated and developed for UNIPER to clean sensitive Plastic, Resin, Composite, and Silicone Insulators. In power plants, insulators made from plastic or resin are often located in underground tunnels connecting generators and transformer stations. These environments, along with other heavy industrial areas, expose insulators to high dust levels and humidity, creating a challenging layer of dirt. SAEKA’s Cleaning Paste is designed to effectively address this issue. This Cleaning Paste for Plastic, Resin, Composite and Silicone Insulators prevents deposits of dust and continuous water films and protects against flash-overs.
When high voltage insulators are treated with this Cleaning Paste, they achieve a partial discharge voltage of 35vK, compared to 32vK with standard cleaners. This increase in voltage discharge demonstrates the superior cleaning, sealing, and protection capabilities of SAEKA’s Cleaning Paste. Additionally, the cleaning process results in a reduced loss factor of tan (δ) = 0.2%, further validating the paste’s exceptional performance.
This Cleaning Paste is solvent free, dermatologically tested and contains physiologically safe abrasives, oils and greases. The product is non-hazardous, no special equipment or extensive Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is needed during the application process.
