SAEKA’s Silicone Grease is a dirt-repellent sealer, offering superior protection in highly contaminated environments. This silicone grease prevents the formation of a continuous water film on insulators in areas with extreme humidity and high dust contamination, thereby protecting against flash-overs and potential damage. It is also essential for safeguarding surfaces in locations polluted by flue ash or salts.
SAEKA’s Silicone Grease should be applied with a soft brush or cloth to a thickness of approximately 0.3mm (300 microns), then polished thoroughly until the surface is non-stick and nearly shiny. For optimal cleaning of ceramic and resin insulators, use it in combination with SAEKA’s Cleaning Paste for High Voltage Insulators and SAEKA’s Cleaning Paste for Cast Resin Insulators respectively.
The grease is solvent-free and contains physiologically safe greases, making it non-hazardous and easy to apply without the need for special equipment or extensive personal protective gear (PPE).
