Digital Insulation Tester 3552BT – Kyoritsu

Where to Buy
SKU: MET-K-3552BT Categories: ,

The Kyoritsu KEW 3552BT is a portable digital insulation and continuity tester. It’s built for electricians and maintenance technicians testing electrical installations and equipment. It combines insulation resistance, continuity and voltage testing in one compact handheld unit. Fast measurement makes it efficient for work in the field. Wireless and PC connectivity make test results simple to store, record and report.

Key features:

  • Six insulation test voltages: 50, 100, 125, 250, 500 and 1000 V for electronics through to high-voltage work.
  • Wide insulation resistance range: Measures up to 40 GΩ at 1000 V, with ±2% rdg ±2 dgt accuracy.
  • Fast measurement: Kyoritsu says it reads in about 0.5 seconds, which it calls world’s-fastest class.
  • Automatic discharge: Safely releases stored charge from the circuit under test after insulation testing.
  • Continuity testing: Auto-ranges across 40 Ω, 400 Ω and 4000 Ω, with ±2.5% rdg ±8 dgt accuracy.
  • AC/DC voltage measurement: Reads AC 2.0–600 V (45–65 Hz) and DC ±2.0–600 V, with ±1% rdg ±4 dgt accuracy.
  • Bluetooth 5.0 and app support: Sends results wirelessly to the KEW Smart Advanced app on iOS and Android.
  • Data storage and PC link: Saves results to internal memory and connects to a PC by USB for reporting.
  • Dimensions: 97 (L) × 156 (W) × 46 (D) mm.
  • Weight: About 490 g with its four AA batteries.

Phase rotation meters for electricians and engineers in Australia

The Importance of Phase Rotation Meters

Phase rotation meters are crucial tools for electricians and engineers in Australia, ensuring the correct phase sequence in three-phase systems for safe and efficient operation. What is a Phase Rotation Meter? A phase rotation meter, also called a phase sequence indicator, determines the phase order (ABC or CBA) in a three-phase system. This is essential
