The Fluke FEV300 Type 1 Plug Adapter works with your existing FEV300 test adapter, and your FEV300 is designed to test the function and safety of charging station mode 3 for AC charging. Once linked up, the Type 1 Plug Adapter lets you quickly check insulation and voltage cycles and simulate earth faults, to ensure your charging station is in the best condition.

A Type 1 connector like this is a five-pin plug that’s used in North America, while a Type 2 connector is a seven-pin plug that’s used primarily in Europe. Use a Type 1 connector when you need to support single-phase charging only and a Type 2 connector when you need to support single or three-phase charging.
